Biography
Travis Smith serves as Senior Vice President, Regional Sales Executive at Culain Capital, where he is responsible for expanding the firm’s origination efforts across the Southeast. Travis brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services, with deep expertise in specialty finance, asset-based lending, and commercial banking.
Prior to joining Culain Capital, Travis spent more than a decade in senior business development roles with asset-based lenders and previously served as a Market Executive, Business Development Officer, and Commercial Relationship Manager for North Carolina-based financial institutions. He is known for his client-focused, consultative approach and for delivering tailored financing solutions to businesses ranging from startups to established middle-market companies.
Travis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from East Carolina University and is based in North Carolina.
