Our Story
In 2021, Fred Kulikowski, a former Bank CEO and a seasoned investor and James Franz, a former Partner and Managing Director in two extremely successful finance organizations, got together to create a specialty finance company, which not only focused on superior customer service for their clients, but they wanted to create an environment where employees, clients, and referral sources are treated like family. Based on their years of experience, James and Fred realized there was an opportunity to revolutionize the factoring experience. They understood that the keys to running a highly successful finance company lies in the people, your attention to credit quality, and your access to capital. This plan started by finding the best talent and partners available. They first contacted Jim Jarosz, a highly experienced banking professional with top level sales management experience who's been able to build teams that provide an elevated level of responsiveness and creativity which results in a high level of customer satisfaction. They then approached Joseph Heim, a 30+ year certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner who started a field examination business from scratch, only to grow it to one of the largest field examination businesses in the country.
With the backing of a $7 billion institutional alternative asset manager based in New York, Culain Capital Management was able to launch May 1, 2022 with the goal of being the most innovative and user friendly specialty finance business in the country.
